These Terms of Service govern the use of Photo Curator ("the App"), a personal photo curation tool created and operated by Todd Friedlich. By using the App, you agree to these terms.
This App is intended for personal use by its owner only. It is not a public-facing product or commercial service and is not available to the general public.
Photo Curator connects to Google Photos to automatically detect notable trips and events, analyze photo quality, remove duplicates, and create curated albums in the authorized Google Photos account. The App uses AI-assisted scoring to select the best photos from a given date range.
Use of the App requires authorization of a Google account. By connecting your Google account, you grant the App permission to access your Google Photos library as described in the Privacy Policy. This authorization can be revoked at any time via Google Account settings.
The App is provided for personal, non-commercial photo curation only. You agree not to use the App to:
The App's data practices are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Photos are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after album creation. No data is sold or shared with third parties.
The App relies on third-party services including Google Photos API, Anthropic Claude API, Railway, and OpenStreetMap. Use of the App is subject to the terms and policies of those services. The App owner is not responsible for any changes, outages, or policy updates from those providers.
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The App owner makes no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy of photo selection, or preservation of any data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of photos through Google Photos or other means.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including any loss of data or photos.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
